ONE FREE WORLD INTERNATIONAL GOES TO One Free World International was invited to visit and minister to the people of Yellowknife and Hay River , NWT December 18-23/04. This historic trip introduced the people of the North to the realities of persecution of fellow brothers and sisters in the body of Christ throughout the world.
Rev. Majed spoke and ministered at three services at Glad Tidings Church in Yellowknife , pastored by Rev. Richard Birch. Glad Tidings Tabernacle is a multicultural congregation with members from Africa, Granada , Jamaica and various First Nations and Inuit brothers and sisters. Rev. Majed was warmly received and his message of love, forgiveness and victory over persecution through the power of our Lord Jesus Christ was welcomed by his audience. Rev. Majed explained that there are many different kinds of persecution which people experience. Many Native brothers and sisters experience persecution from their own families and communities after they accept the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
During the three separate services, Rev. Majed was able to share his powerful testimony, as well as explain some of the major differences between Christianity and Islam. In each of his services he stressed the importance of forgiveness and love towards the persecutors; emphasizing that we must continue to pray that their eyes may be opened to “the Way the Truth and the Life” in Jesus Christ.
After each service Rev. Majed spent time ministering healing and restoration through prayer to the individual members of the congregatation. Two additional services were held in Hay River (a 5 hour drive South of Yellowknife) during the following days. The First service was held at Glad Tidings Church , pastured by Rev. Rebecca Birch (Rev. Richard Birch substituted for his wife, Rebecca, who was out of town). The second service was held at the Deney Once again, Rev. Majed's testimony greatly impacted both congregations and shed light on the plight of those who are persecuted simply because they love and worship Jesus Christ. Rev. Majed urged everyone to pray daily for these often forgotten brothers and sisters in Christ. He also urged everyone to write to their local Members of Parliament and foreign embassies expressing their outrage over the persecution of Christians worldwide.

We must continue to follow up with our MP's until we get a response. We must let our MP's know that we will support and work for candidates who are prepared to take concrete action regarding these issues.”
